Truesdale of Kershaw is Dead Harry Hampton Truesdale of Kershaw, one of the best known residents of that town, passed away at a Camden hospital Monday morning at 6:30 o'clock following a stroke which he suffered Friday night at his farm near Westville. As he had suffered two previous strokes his condition was considered serious and he was rushed to a Camden hospital. He was about sixty years of age and had been a rural carrier at Kershaw for many years. Funeral services will be held at the First Methodist church this afternoon (Monday) at 3:30. Deceased is survived by his father, Louis Truesdale and his widow and the following sons and daughters, Mrs. A. L. Beckham and Mrs. L. Ed McNair of Rock Hill, Mrs. Bill Clyburn of Kershaw, Olin Truesdale of Columbia, L. J. Truesdale of Camden and Harry and William Truesdale of Kershaw also Mr. J. J. Beckham of Long Branch, NJ and Mrs. B. E. Mangum of Pageland. |
