Notes:	Lewis Radcliffe was the eldest son of Thomas W. and Rebecca Radcliffe. His younger brother, Charlie C. Radcliffe, was pictured in a photo album that he gave to Maria Louisa "Lula" G. Feaster in ante-bellum Columbia, South Carolina. During the Civil War, Lewis served with the South Carolina 2nd Infantry Regiment, initially in Company C, was promoted from 2nd to 1st Sergeant in early 1862, and went to Company A later in that year.
