| Notes: | Samuel G. McClanahan was the maternal grandfather of Harriet "Hattie" H. Feaster who was pictured as a child in the Civil War era photo album of Lula Feaster. S. G. McClanahan was a prominent planter in northern South Carolina. He was father of noted South Carolina physician James Marshall McClanahan M.D., CSA, and of Annette McClanahan who married Nathan Andrew Feaster of Fairfield Co. The image of Annette McClanahan Feaster's daughter, Hattie, was located among images with notations such as Earl(e), Farmer, and Brown.
