Feaster) Lyles of Steedman, Lexington County" in the obituary of her elder brother John Woodward Lyles in the early 1930's. Carrie Lyles' youngest daughters, Florence and Edith, were mentioned in marginal notes in the Civil War era album of Maria Louisa Georgiana Feaster, who was J. Feaster Lyles' second-cousin.
