Isham and family are buried nearby, at the Liberty Baptist Church yard in Abernant, Tuscaloosa Co., Alabama. Clark family researchers surmise that Cornelius returned to live in Lexington Co., SC, after his son Isham died abt 1868/1869.

James or Jim's, Andrew or Jack's, Rebecca's and Mahala's families are here in Lexington County at this time [1904]. Fanny died here and left no children. Nancy died and left one child, and Joseph died here, got this far when going home from the war between the states.

All of Neil's children are dead at this time - Nancy being the last one to die. She died the sixth day of Decemter 1902.
James J. is buried at his old homestead at Clark's Mills.
Andrew J. is buried at his old homestead near Leesville.
Rebecca is buried on her old homestead near Pelion.
Fannie is buried beside her father and mother at Clark's Mills, the old home place.
Nancy is buried by her brother James J. at the old home.
Edy Ann Mahala is buried at Bethel Methodist Church in the lower part of Lexington County.
Joseph M. is buried at St. Peter's church, a Lutheran church near Leesville, S.C. in the upper portion of Lexington County.
