Virgil P. Clayton, was a serious suitor of Maria Louisa Georgiana "Lula" Feaster in the years before she married John G. Wolling in 1872.
Virgil Clayton became a physician. Several children in the Feaster, Coleman, and other Feasterville families in the late 1800's were named in honor of Virgil Clayton. Further information on the Clayton family is listed under Virgil's father, the Universalist minister, Rev. D. B. Clayton.
