Dec 18th 1851. An infant died 3-11-1859, oldest was Uncle Johnny b. 9-25-1852. Moses, he was born, 11-30-1822, in County Down Ireland, came to America about 1838 - died 2-7-1894. Buried at Salem Presbyterian Church - I put his Confederate marker up on 11-29/1962, 111 one hundred and eleven days he volunteered. Cousin Lizzie Clowney Coleman was with me, she is his niece and 83 yrs old - [signed] Cle Hall. Grand Pa Moses Clowney's war records - he married Susannah Elizabeth Yongue Milling (widow of Robert) on Dec. 18th, 1851. [signed] Cle Hall. |
