This obituary links Pearl Threatt to her parents, Miles Threatt and Rachel Laney, and to her spouse E.B. Huggins and their children. Text: The Lancaster News, Tues. Oct 27, 1964 Mrs. Huggins Mrs. Pearl Threatt Huggins died at her home in Lancaster on Thursday, Oct. 22. Her age was 86. Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon from the First Methodist Church by the pastor, the Rev. E. S. Jones. Burial was in Westside Cemetery. Mrs. Huggins was born in Chesterfield County, a daughter of the late Miles and Rachel Laney Threatt. Her husband was the late Edward B. Huggins of Lancaster. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Radford Ellis of Lancaster; two sons, Edward Oscar Huggins and George C. Huggins, both of Lancaster; and one sister, Mrs. Ellen Threatt of Jefferson. [Tr:GSC]
