Notes: Have photo of Dr. Thomas Rawls and his wife, (Mary) Drucilla Feaster, from photo album of his niece, Lula Feaster.

Marginal notes in Lula Feaster Photo Album on picture of Dr. Thomas Rawls and Drucilla Feaster Rawls, say "uncle and niece married sister and brother". This is significant evidence that uncle Dr. Thomas Rawls and his niece Maria Louisa Rawls married Feaster siblings Drucilla Feaster and Nathan Andrew Feaster, respectively. This would mean that Dr. Thomas Rawls was brother to John Ivy Rawls, therefore born between about 1800 and 1810. The photographs confirm that he married a woman far younger than he.

In 1850, Lula Feaster lived in the home of her great-grandfather Benjamin Rawls (b. 1772). In addition to her great-grandparents, her grand-uncle Dr. Thomas Rawls age 34, lived in the house with his wife Mary Drucilla Feaster. "Aunt Drucie" was a grand-aunt to Lula by marriage, and also an aunt, because Drucie was a sister of Lula's father, Nathan Andrew Feaster.
