Location of cemetery: from Winnsboro take SC-Hwy 34 west, go 4.6 mi past US321 bypass; turn right (north) on Douglass Rd. (Rd 22) go 9.1 mi; church is on right at end of dirt road.
Text: Capt. Clowney died March 12, 1885 of pneumonia, and was buried beside his wife, (who had preceeded him only two and a half years in death) at New Hope Associate Reform Presbyterian Church yard

Text: The New Hope Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church was the center of much of religious life for the Brice family. The land for the church was donated by walter Brice and is only several hundred yards from his home. The church still holds services and many Brice family members are buried in the cemetery there.
